// "Apple could not verify…" warning

Why do I see a security warning when opening the app?
macOS Gatekeeper shows this for apps downloaded outside the App Store. PixelHUD is safe — it's just an indie app. The quickest fix: right-click the app → OpenOpen. You only need to do this once.

Alternatively, open Terminal and paste:
xattr -cr /Applications/PixelHUD.app && open /Applications/PixelHUD.app
Or: System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down → Open Anyway.

// Permissions

Why does the app need Accessibility access?
Accessibility permission lets the app detect keyboard shortcuts (like Cmd+S, Cmd+C) to play the matching Minecraft sound. No keystrokes are recorded or transmitted.
Why does the app need Input Monitoring?
Input Monitoring is required to play the dirt sound while you type. Again — no key data is logged, stored, or sent anywhere.
The sounds aren't playing / the HUD doesn't react to typing
Check that both permissions are granted:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → PixelHUD ✓
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring → PixelHUD ✓

After enabling, quit and reopen PixelHUD.
