// Overview
PixelHUD is a macOS menu bar app that plays Minecraft sounds while you type. Your privacy is straightforward: we collect nothing.
// Data We Do NOT Collect
- Keystrokes — the app listens for key events to trigger sounds, but no key data is recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
- Personal information — no name, email, or account is required to use the app.
- Usage analytics — no crash reports, telemetry, or analytics are collected.
- Location data — the app does not access your location.
// Permissions Explained
Accessibility — required to detect keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Cmd+S, Cmd+C) so the matching Minecraft sound can be played. No keystrokes are logged.
Input Monitoring — required to play the dirt sound while you type. No key data is stored or transmitted.
// Third Parties
PixelHUD does not share data with any third parties because no data is collected in the first place. The app makes no network requests during normal use.
